I dropped the liquid on the skin in one spot between the shoulder blades but its oil so it went on the hair and downwards.. The next morning it looks like a wet spot where the hair looks moist . Is this ok?

First time using frontline for dogs.
I have 2 golden retrievers, they are both about 95lbs, my room mate has a small dog that ways about 20lbs, can I apply just a small amount of the larger dogs FrontLine on the small dog or is the concentration going to be to strong?
Frontline Plus for dogs can technically be used on cats, as it is the same product, but measuring out the proper dosage for a cat’s size and metabolism is very difficult to do.
