    see… my black 4 yr old labrador is messed up. lol. i have one of does tie down things.
    i tied him ones and a half hour later he was running around with the chewed up dog leach.Then the next day i went to walmart and bot a chain leach. This time he did not chew it up…. oh no he didn’t he just pulled and pulled. but he could break the chain. he just ended up damaging his throat and the floor. i guess thats what you get when you buy a cheep 70 dollar labrador. >= |

    Some people with dogs are plain anti-social. They probably don`t realise it, however. There`s a family who live near me who have a dog that barks for much of the day. Now, if I got up one Sunday morning at 6am and went outside and shouted, “get you the hell out of bed,” I`d be locked up. But people don`t seem to find it a problem inflicting their dog on the rest of us. A dog that barks from morning till night is not one persons dog. It`s everybody`s dog. Everybody`s alarm clock.

    @paulie227
    Thats Awesome!

  5. paulie227 Says:

    @wildpitchernae no, what you reward is the silence….wait for that few seconds when he shuts up and then give him the reward…while he’s barking ignore him, then as soon as he takes a breath ready to bark some more and is quiet even for a second or two give him the treat….he’ll realize he gets a treat when he’s quiet and ignored when he’s barking.

  6. paulie227 Says:

    My dog is a 3.5 month old puppy. She barks with a purpose….let’s play, I want some of what you have, give me that, pick me up, let me out…she practically “talks”..she makes these little growling-like sounds in her throat while looking at you and telling what to do…how to I channel that?

  8. wildpitchernae Says:

    if you give your dog treats when he barks, isnt that like rewarding his bad behaviour for barking?

  9. ComfortablyNumbAgain Says:

    tie a dog to a wall? lol

  10. Kristinaheartsmazin Says:

    Yeah right…when somone comes over, thats the only thing on his mind….ive tried having guests give him treats and he barks while chewing…lol.

    My dog hates toys

  14. fuckupyourmouth Says:

    I have fucking hunting dogs!!! Theyre not pussys who play with toys! how do i stop them barking

  15. hamslice15164 Says:

    yeah, if i rewarded my dog with a treat then it stop barking it would just bark again for more food. he’s very smart but he’s never going shut up.

  16. hamslice15164 Says:

    lol. the toy thing. my 8 year old english setter barks his balls off when anyone comes to the door. after their let in he grabs this toy and jumps on them and acts like an ahole until he’s not being payed any attention. “NO BARKING” after 8 years he knows what it means but is stubborn. as soon as he barks he gets his muzzle and freeze like he was given a truck load of thorize. he hates it. it’s like the end of the world, but still after 8 years he rather take the muzzle than shut up.

  17. Bitrunner1 Says:

    The toy thing is very creative… teach them a new response to the stimulus, rather than just trying to stop the bad response.
    Brilliant! 5 stars!

  18. mafatchu Says:

    I think it’s funny that any videos I see where you have to teach your dog something, people comment negatively on it. These methods DO work. Your just lazy and want a quick fix when you’ve never even taught them the right thing to do yet.

  19. icaown Says:

    @naisayd I agree, I have seen videos of him making matters worse in the moment, thank you so much for sending me that link, I am very grateful!

  2. naisayd Says:

    @handsofheaven88 – Millan’s methods look great on TV, but they have a tendency to increase aggression and reactivity rather than reduce it. A better approach is what Dr. Sophia Yin uses in watch?v=EPK7SML15YI There are also some videos available of how professionals handle behaviour issues available by google abrionline (Animal Behavior Resources Institute of American Humane Association)

  4. handsofheaven88 Says:

    My rescued Boston Terrier goes into the red zone immediately when he sees a person walk toward us or another animal. I actually already do some of what caesar does. But I am desperate to end this behavior, he got pepper sprayed while on his leash today by the mail man, and I feel like if he hadn’t been screeching and if my mom had been watching him that it wouldn’t have happened. I can’t take him anywhere without this happening. He misses out on fun things my pugs get to do.

  5. ThatPiaRene Says:

    so glad i found this, my dog does the same thing when meeting new people and dogs. luckily she isnt as bad as the italian on here.

    Thats a rat on steroids. Not a dog.

  8. daboingdaboing Says:

    Nice work by Caesar as usual.

  9. Poseidon99Jeus Says:

    @RedUnbannable What what what ????? Son of bitch !!!! U need 2 slaps too ??

  10. RedUnbannable Says:

    @Poseidon99Jeus wat

  11. Poseidon99Jeus Says:

    My Name is Dog Straight. That lady might have paid a lot to cock whisperer. If she had engaged me, this dog would walk straight instead of walking zig zag with only 2 slaps. Moreover, I don’t charge too much as cock whisperer.

  12. NikkoAndCourtney Says:

    @ss123x if you don’t know the dog and he doesnt look friendly you shouldn’t look at him in the eyes cuz dogs stare at eachother in the eyes when they are challenging eachother which most of the time leads to a fight.If you don’t know a dog that comes up to you, you should just keep walking or stay still until he goes but DO NOT run or be afraid cuz that will just make him go after you and if he’s agressive, he will bite you.

  13. NikkoAndCourtney Says:

    @Ilovescrubs99 afraid of what?

  14. Ilovescrubs99 Says:

    those dogs were afraid.

    i like this guy he is good with dogs i try to learn lots from him but i think i need to learn more. still i think he is awesome

  18. IanSomerhalder11 Says:

    He’s bloody amazing! Everything he does is perfectly right. I have raised 5 dogs altogether with “The Cesar Method” and they are all calm, submissive. 2 of them are staffies, one is lab x and the other 2 are shih tzu’s. Well done Cesar! COME TO ENGLAND PLEASEE

  19. Zaphyr1276 Says:

    @ss123x how would that be dangerous?

  20. RingingPeaceHB Says:

    @ss123x if it is somebody else’s dog he sees that as challenge as provocation. but if that is your dog he sees that as calling him for attention to look at you

  21. ss123x Says:

    Can/may you look a dog in the eyes? Or is that to dangerous?

  22. laffizzle Says:

    ,man these people myust feel hella stupid after cesar rehabilitates their dogs. they’re probably like. wow wat the fuck did he just do. then go back tot heir crappy lifes.

  25. LycaWatyre Says:

    @brawyn777

    My husky has a fear of ear and eye drops. If he saw the bottle, he ran. What I’ve done is I make sure he doesn’t see the bottle, and I start going through tricks with him, and giving him treats. While he’s distracted, I have a family member drop the meds into his ears or eyes. It’s harder with eyes, but we’ve had to do the same thing for that. Holding them down and using force is scary. Try turning it into a game for him.
