Start training as soon as you can. Start at home with basic commands. To teach him to sit hold a trat in front of him and move it over his head and say sit. When he sits give him the treat and praise him. Also, if you want him to come when called never use his name when punishing him. Use his name only in positve contexts. When he’s a little older sign up for a basic obedience course.

well with potty training you have to take him out maybe every hour or two but just walk around try to let him lead when walking so he can maybe find a scent and want to go potty and if he does then give him a treat and lots of praise.
As for basic training you can start at maybe 10 weeks old. He will learn faster if he likes spending time with you and of course if your super nice and praise him a lot (even if he doesn’t do the trick quite right just remember he is still a puppy and needs motivation and encouragement). Don’t train him if you’re upset or having a bad day. I trained my puppy at 11 weeks and didn’t even have a puppy training book I just went on google for everything loll.
P.S.
with potty training he’ll only go potty where he feels comfortable maybe even on your neighbor’s lawn lol.
Good Luck and hope I helped

When it comes to potty training, I read when you are away you need to keep your puppy in a small area because he won’t want to go to the bathroom where he needs to lay down. I sort of used this technique. I kept our puppy in a small bathroom with a bed and a pee pad. Puppies usually go to the bathroom shortly after they eat or drink so if you monitor his eating and drinking, you can let him outside immediately following. These techniques worked for our shih-poo. Hope it helps you too. good luck!
