I need chiahuahua puppy training tips. About everything there is to know?
My dog is CRAZY. He is still a puppy(8 months)a boy.
He barks all the time and barks at other people.
He doesnt no how to sit or stay
so anything will help

dont let it bite ppl they will live wit it 4 the rest of their life…if ne1 had a bad xperience wit it ur dog will hate them 4 the rest of its life…trust me.

Alrighty then. for your sit and stay or whatever other thing you want him to do, here is what You do. Grab some treats, like a biscuit or cooked chicken. have them at the ready and get down to his level so that he is aware you are there, but you are tall enough your still boss. Take a piece of food between your thumb and two fingers or whatever. Make sure he sniffs it, as soon as he does, curl your hand back so he can’t get it. This will throw him into a frenzy probably but you have to be patient. HE has to figure out what YOU want him to do. As soon as he sits, or does whatever, Put the word to the action. Be fast!! He sits, say sit immediatly and give him the treat. When he is barking, do an abrupt AH AH very loudly. When he stops, (it will probably startle him) Say good Boy. When he barks at others do the same.
If he still does it, take him away from the people to another room. He should soon realize he has to be good to be with others.

as an owner of 2 chihuahuas i say embrace it..they are notoriously hard to train…resist treating them like babies because they will become so territorial that they will not get along with anyone. you should play with their feet (this is supposed to calm them)…introduce them to as many people as possible..mine are 4 and still go in the house whenever they can…some have tried litter training which seems to work better…they have minds of their own so be patient.

about barking at other people, how i got my chihuahua to stop- is just to put her next to the person she’s barking at she could sniff them and see that they are no danger to her, after a while, she’ll just stop barking at people all together. You teach your puppy how to sit by getting a treat in your hand and not giving it to him until he sits down (you can push his butt down the first times to show him what you want him to do) hope i helped

Stop the barking or it will go on forever – treats, commands of firm NO, if no response look away, take puppy into time out to the laundry for a few minutes. Start again training, being firm. If this does not work get a water spray and wet the puppy when he starts dont let it go on.
Use rewards and be give simple commands stay, sit, come, NO, good boy. Treats help love and cuddles, but only if you are obeyed. Find what his favourite toy is and play with him and if he barks or bites YIP at him as if in pain and he should stop what he is doing and obey. If not push him away and be stern. Call again and if he responds give treat and love like a mum. hope this helps
