Puppy Obedience Training
One of the most important things you must consider before you bring a new puppy home is puppy obedience training.
This is both essential for and crucial to your puppy’s development and how they turn out when they are older. You don’t want an aggressive dog when he gets older and puppy dog training can help you avoid this. I hope to provide you here some very good free puppy training tips and advice to make training your puppy as easy as it needs to be.
I mentioned about a puppy growing up to become an aggressive dog and some of the early warning signs to look out for are things like is your puppies biting habits been a little more common than usual or does he bite all the time.
Puppy nipping and biting can be put to a stop if you tell your dog that biting is wrong. Sounds easy doesn’t it and in actual fact it is! All you need to do is whenever your puppy bites (or basically whenever his teeth touch your skin) you just simply let out a very loud, sharp scream.
This noise should be loud enough to stop your puppy in his tracks and if you do this all the time then he will soon learn what happens when he bites.
This one little gem alone really can make a difference in your puppy’s development as mouthing and biting is one of the first things he will learn how to do. By applying this tactic in your puppy training biting will soon disappear and it also helps when you begin puppy leash training and he is out meeting new dogs and new people.
Another aspect to remember with puppy obedience training. is that he will need to be house trained if you want your home to stay immaculate. Puppy house training again doesn’t need to be difficult and if I was to give you one piece of advice to help sum up how to be effective when house breaking or potty training puppies then it would be that you must be consistent, ALWAYS!!
By been consistent and doing the same thing with your puppy everyday not only helps give your puppy someone to look up to it will also turn you into a pack leader and all dogs always want to look for leadership.
Well I hope this page alone has given some good insights into some of the responsibilities you must take into account if you want to take on a puppy. Training your puppy all sounds difficult and daunting however this is a mistake, most of the time its the people who try to apply training to their puppy and when you start doing something wrong then the ultimate goal won’t be reached.
