@UnIngerPierdut it’s true, you didn’t know, most people don’t. I didn’t know until my Deaf boyfriend explained to me that his Deaf friend insisted on having a Deaf Dog as her companion! My boyfriend has always had a passion for animals but a true love for any animal that is underestimated or looked over. I have never truly had a dog of my own but I share his love for all animals, and now have an interest in adopting a Deaf Pit (my favorite breed) I’m sure these videos will help a great deal!

My Dalmatian is 4 years old, and she’s deaf. She knows a lot of signs by now but I’m so afraid do let her free outside. Sometimes she got free by accident and it was a nightmare to get her back, and dangerous for her. She’s very active and I can feel she doesn’t want to be bossed around. What would you recommend me to do to start training her off the leash? Thank you, Pedro.

I had a dalmation puppy about 3 years ago that was deaf and my father did not let me keep her. Today i adopted a 2 month old white boxer puppy named Mariee who is also deaf, from an animal shelter and i am ready to take on the responsibility of caring for her. I would appreciate it if you could give any good tips on how to train this breed in perticular.

I am sooo desperate trying to find someone willing to adopt an 18 month old white AB. She’s in a shelter in Georgia. There are transporters willing to take her to her new home. If there is anything you can do to help, like where to post my plea, or if u know someone willing to take her, please reply for more info.

Great video! How does the Pager collar work? I’d love to learn more.
Glad to see Romeo found someone who understands him. =)

I just found your videos. I have an 8 week old australian shepherd that I just got. I was suspicious of his hearing and sure enough when I took him to the vet he confirmed that he is deaf. The breeder said I could trade him in and get a replacement puppy but that is out of the question! This little pup is already apart of our family. My first question, how do I get started training him? Should we wait til he is older or start now? What do we do first? Thanks for giving us hope! Love your video!

Thank you so much . . . I really appreciate these videos . . . we use so many voice commands with our other dogs it has been truly funny to watch the different members of the family forget she is deaf and hollar her name for her to come and then realize what they did.

There is something called BAER hearing testing you could look into ,see if anyone in your area does it

We just acquired a deaf pit bull . . . we have 6 other dogs at our home but my husband just could not allow the people to kill this dog simply because she is deaf. I do not believe she is completely deaf as she can hear a train horn. Any idea on some place we could see what frequencies she can hear and possibly getting a whistle at that pitch?
