3 month old labrador Retriever Puppy doing tricks

I have been clicker training her for about 9 days and we’ve had her for about 14 days total. We use the harness for walking her and the bell to notice when she stops so we don’t yank her head off, the harness has worked a lot better then a regular collar when we go on walks.

@WreebsAndChiquenShow labs are some of the most affectionate dogs out there. If they run away and ignore you, it’s because they weren’t trained as puppies. They are very trainable and smart dogs. I have one that’s 3 and he’s as dumb as a bag of hammers but he is trained and minds well. I would recommend leash training, that’s one thing I didn’t do.

@WreebsAndChiquenShow They are exremly affectionate for starters and they a very loyal companion. And as far at them being stubborn, yeah they can be but so can other breeds and its nothing that good training and paitence can’t fix. You have to remember this breed is the chosen breed for both guide dogs and drug protection dogs.So they ca’t be too bad i have had two so far from pups and i’ll never get anything else. I hope this has helped.

and its amazing how you taught her all those tricks!!! Im hoping to get a labrador retriever soon. i heard they have a stubborn streak and they’re not very affectionate. i want a dog that can be your best friend not run away and ignore you. so, can anyone tell me how they are?

lol my roomates stupid lab is 3 months old and a DISASTER! It took me months to train my dog all of these tricks when she was an adult! great job!!!

1. i think you have to be really bored

Lab who is my life, he’s gorgeous! He never fully “grew-up” despite his age, he’s still a friggin nut but I love him to death!! Labradors are so loyal and just beautifully natured. My dog has NEVER intentionally hurt anyone and I’m so grateful

@crisman14 it’s like a sign of success, it’s something to make the dog recognize he’s done something right, so when he hears the click, he also knows that food will follow.
