Stalwart Cricket Braves Sleet and Snow to Go Potty
Cricket is a 14 year old, short haired, cold natured rat terrier. About 6 months ago I started giving her a treat when she pottied in the yard, even though she was already basically house trained and a senior citizen. First I went down with her to give her the treat, then after she understood why she got the treat, I stayed on the porch and she came up for it. See how she goes down the steps of her own accord?
