I bought 3 collars for my 3 mini dachshunds. They worked great for about a week then the batteries died. I looked for replacements and they are 1/2 AA, very spendy. Found some not too high priced and tried to put them in and they don’t fit, so the batteries must be only availabe in another country (the collas came from Japan I think). If you could find batteries they might be OK but otherwise….you get what you pay for I guess. Don’t waste your money.

We have a german shorthair pointer and this collar doesn’t work at all. He could care less about the small shock he gets

This collar worked well. Our dog stopped barking incessantly right away. In fact, the loud beep sound that happens first (before the shock) surprised her enough that I don’t think she ever made it to the point where she was shocked. However, it only lasted a few days to a week before it broke internally. I tried new batteries but something was broken inside. Also, I tried the shock on myself before putting it on my dog. It was potent for sure but I wanted to do it on myself before subjecting my dog

I tried this on my Akita mix. It uses a microphone not vibration to detect. It went off and shocked my dog

only to keep shocking him as he was screaming in pain. I had to run after him to catch him to make him silent so it would stop. I had to spend hours doing rehab work to desensitize

him from any beeping noise. Big Mistake using this collar.
