How do u get a dog to stop digging in the backyard?
My dog will be outside for 5 minutes sometimes and dig a huge whole!! So I know its not from being bored, I would like to get her to stay outside sometimes and keep herself occupied but she likes digging. Any ideas would be great!!

Get her a sandbox :]

Give her a place to dig. Get her a sandbox and teach her to dig there. Show her the box and encourage her to dig, praise her when she does. When you see her start digging somewhere she shouldn’t redirect her to the sandbox. You can also encourage her to dig in the sandbox by hiding toys in it.
This way she gets to dig, you get to have your yard look nice, its a win-win.

DEFINETLEY THE SANBOX I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND MINE NOW GO TO THE SAND OR YOU CAN PUT MULCH DIRT IN IT
